HELP!

A little more info here... i was under the inpression that Neds Mac 11
upgrade was a voltage divider circuit and not a EPROM reprogramming. Not
that this is a bad thing, its just a different way of getting basically the
same results (i dont want to get into the eprom vs z/r mod). If I am
correct, then this is bogus auction as the voltage divider would have been
installed elsewhere on the board and have nothing to do with the Eprom. If
I am wrong about Neds mod in this case, then disreguard the previous :)

The chip probably appears virgin because I'm pretty sure that Ned's mods
involve putting a socket on the board, then just plugging the chip into
that. You did socket yours.... right?! If not (why!!!??? the sockets are a
coupla bucks at any Radio Shack!) I see no way that you're going to get your
money back. All he has to say is that you must've damaged the chip while
soldering it to the board. I truely hope that you socketed... it'll at least
allow you to put the stock chip back in easily...

Good luck with this!
