The new car in the stable :) (89 200tqa)

Well after about month of trying to get this car, I finally picked it up on
sat with a trailer and brought it home.

When we pulled up at the gas station, I said to my wife "there it is!" and
she replies "its the same color as yours!" (she doesnt like red very much
and my car is tornado red).  Got the car home and checked things out.  Here
are the stats and problems

1989 200 tqa (vin ends in 006062)

Tornado Red/Grey Interior with sport seats (heated)

Roof rack

MC-1 motor (something im actually quite pleased about because it will be
alot cheaper to get MC-1 specific parts)

It even has the rarest of all 5ktq/200tq items... a COMPLETE injector
cooling shroud! heheh 

The car was being sold because the previous owner was driving it and one of
the lines to or from the oil cooler blew off and ran the car out of oil!.
Now smokes like crazy and skips.

Started her up, rough running, missing at least one cylinder.  Exhaust has a
big leak someplace down past the cat, havent even looked underneath yet.

Compression test on the motor reveals following #1=120psi, #2=110psi,
#3=20psi (uh oh), #4=110psi, #5=110psi.  So I am pulling the head starting
tonight and will see how bad the damage is.  Dad has spare pistons and
connecting rods in the cellar, so i have a good source of parts.  May
replace the whole motor, but i would prefer not to go through that if i dont
have to.

Wife is quite happy about the car, the only thing she doesnt like is the
fact its a standard.
