I need some Bilstein Sport Struts... Maybe??

I went through the same thing when I upgraded the suspension on my 5KTQ. I finally called the Bilstein tech line and spoke with a few people there and the sport shocks are different in that they have a stiffer rebound than the HD's this is to accommodate stiffer springs, which usually means lowering springs. as far as using them with stock springs I was told that there was no problem with this. This came directly from Bilstein themselves so I am more apt to trusting them over the guys at Blau or anywhere else for that matter. You can call them and they can give you much better details about the shocks for your specific car. The guy I spoke with was very helpful and seemed very knowledgeable.

Hope this helps.

Hey all,

Its about time I change all 4 struts on my car, it has
150,000 miles on it and never have been replaced. I wanna go with
Bilstein Sport Struts, but crappy old Blau told me that the sports won't
work unless u have a lowered suspension. But they say that the Heavy
Duty Bilstein struts are the exact same, but just with a longer internal
shaft for cars with stock ride height!! Any suggestions on what kind of
strut to get, whether it be Bilstein or not. Also I am looking for a
stiffer better ride only with keeping the stock ride height. And no
coilovers. Just some kind of struts. HELP!!!!!

Thanks,
