Maybe you could/should.  The NF bracket screws into where the oil filter
goes (pull the "nipple," bracket uses big mucka hollow bolt), and uses
the two little pins around it to stay "straight".  Filter screws to
bracket in the normal manner, two lines to cooler come off bracket.

This thing looks like it would work on just about any engine that uses
the same oil filter size.

I am referring to it as the "NF" bracket because that's where I've seen
them - but basically the donor is a type 44 normally aspirated that
happens to have an oil cooler - might be on other engined versions as
well.  A quick look in TFA did not turn up any type 89 cars with oil
coolers (but it was a quick look).  As I recall similar research for the
type 85 was equally fruitless.  

So custom hoses it must be... the trick will be doing a nice job of
hanging the cooler itself from what used to the AC kompressor bracket -
which will minimise flex in the lines.  I would *really* like to have a
way to drain/fill the oil trapped in the cooler for more effective oil
changes, too...
