Metric to AN Adapters?

You missed the point.  Afterwards you have to ensure to raise the temp
enough to open the tstat, fill the cooler (hoping this does not drop
your level too much) and check and refill.  Honestly, when I am "done"
with an oil change I want to be done with it.  seal it up, put the under
cover back on, and drive it.

further to the missed point - its not the draining!  it's the refilling
that presents a challenge.  Too bad the filter brackets don't have some
sort of "open the thermostat" override valve of some sort.
