Lock on '91 200TQ driver door 'shot'

This most likely caused by the crack in the plastic pin which rings around
of ball shaped end of another plastic pin. It can be fixed by drilling a
small hole through the cracked part of the ring and threading a short screw
(#2 or #3) through the hole. When you see the part you will understand what
I mean. Tighten the screw and put a drop of crazy glue over the crack for a
good measure. This will cure the problem. It worked for me.
