Fwd: Central Lock problem please help

There's a wire that runs through the driver side doorjamb that signals the 
central locking to activate when you turn THAT key.  It may also be 
necessary for that wire to be intact for the vacuum pump that supplies 
vacuum for the central locking system to operate.    The  wires in that 
doorjamb break from all the door opening and closing.
