'86 5ktqw: extra wires?

Uh, not sure what happened here
but, while replacing the radiator in the
wagon, when putting things back together again, I was reviewing all the
things I unplugged, making sure they were plugged in again, and I found an
extra connector that was not plugged into anything. Turns out, the thing
must have been there all along, and in my poking around I discovered it
laying there. It’s a two-wire connector, a trapezoidal gizmo with round
connectors in it, a blue/yellow wire and a brown/black wire. I discovered
this connector under/near the multi-function sensor. I don’t have a book on
this car therefore no clue about this thing. I didn’t see anything in the
vicinity of it looking for wires either, but I was tired by then, so may
have missed it. This was my first 5ktq radiator: an interesting experience.
Not horribly difficult, but somewhat intimidating to look at beforehand. But
it’s done now, functional testing is in progress, and I’m surprised the old
rad held anything, let alone coolant: it was all busted up, both caps
seeping slowly, cross pipes loose and corroded, yuk.
