The A4 is Audi's bread and butter model and it would be crazy for them
to be doing such a thing. I don't know where the salesman got that but
maybe the truth is a bit mis-translated... The *current* Audi A4 is
ceasing production (or actually has ceased around now), to be replaced by
the next generation A4, which has already gone on sale in Europe and
other countries. The new A4 should begin to arrive in the US this
fall as 2002 models.
