The 924 has a completely different engine than any Audi 4-cylinder since
the late 70s, so none of those parts will interchange. However, the Audi
4-cylinder engine from any model since the 70s (except the 100LS) is
essentially the same as the VW units from the Golf/Jetta/Scirocco, etc.
Depending on the year and model, the Audi usually has the best configuration
already for that vintage. If you're talking about the 2.0L as in the Audi
80, it's already got the good stuff. The 16V VW head will bolt up to the
Audi engine, but you have to worry about clearance issues and plumbing.
The VW intake manifold and throttle body is angled wrong and will not mate
up to the air boot for the CIS air flow sensor. This has all come up before
so you should search the archives.
