Nice idea. What's your turn-around time on an alt.
Also would be nice to add a lug to the frame ( an option)
to allow the addition of a ground braid/wire to the alt.
to helpthe ground in older cars. The alt/frame mount bushings get corroded
and can add significant ground path losses ( in my older coupes
I've measured as high as 1.4 volts drop from the frame to the
neg. bat terminal) I cured my problem by adding a large ground
strap (braid) between the alt frame, the engine and neg bat
terminal. Now I have less than 200mv drop in the ground.
