I think you are right that these cars are a good buy but the prices you talk about
are little high. Two months ago I bought a 97 A6 with all options except for the
cold weather package with 36K miles in northern Virginia (west of DC) for $19K.
Their asking price was $20K. A month later they sold a 98 (they were asking $21K
for that one) with 35K miles and every option including the cold weather package.
I looked around on EBAY for months until I found this local used dealer with really good
AUDIs and great prices, much better than the EBAY reserves I came accross. I am happy
with the car and was happy with the deal. If anyone is interested I can recommend the place.
They have AUDIs and a web inventory. http://www.lintonmotorsport.com/
NOTE: I am not associated with this dealer and do not know anyone there. I did get a
great deal on a great car and would recommend this place for similar deals on AUDI cars.
