Strange alarm behavior, 93 100CS

Fred's the winner. His somewhat arcane procedure (as seen below) was the
fix, and I wish I had tried it a week earlier, before I disassembled the
door. Mechanically, the fix was impossible, the d*mn thing worked
backwards! Nevertheless, this simple procedure not only fixed the alarm
arm/disarm problem by coordinating it with the locking/unlocking process, it
actually corrected the problem of the key operating backwards.
