after run fan control unit location?

Can anyone tell me where this unit is on an 86' 4kq?  I believe mine is not
working correctly, and would like to check it out.

Also, another question, when the air conditioning is turned on in these
cars, does the cooling fan turn on, and run whenever the a/c is on?  I know
in a lot of other cars, this is the case, and on my Porsche, it will always
be on at a low speed when the a/c is on, even if the compressor is not
engaging.
