The bushings are replaceable, but the ball joint isn't.. If you have a
bad ball joint, you have to replace the whole control arm.. I don't
know of any aftermarket control arm bushings for the type 44 cars..
Beware - stiff bushings do increase the "feeling" with the car and
makes it more precise, but they also make it noisy and rough..
