Front subframe / engine mount removal

Hi all,

The latest episode in the above saga...
I've now extracted the front subframe by grinding off the head of the bolt
whose captive nut is turning in the chassis leg. One thing leads to another
and the presence of a section of radiator hose wedged between the right side
of the sump and subframe cross member would indicate to me that the right
engine mount had started to sag and a previous owner had fitted the hose to
stop the sump from chafing on the subframe (it was wedged securely between
the two). I had a look in my workshop manual for advice as to how I should go
about changing this engine mount but as usual it was no help. What is the
easiest way of gaining access to the top nut? What has to be removed first?
Anything I should know before I start digging into the depths of the engine
bay? As usual, all advice gratefully received.
Thanks,

Paul Johns
