slick 50 and chemicals

Redline is a synthetic lube company.  I prefer Amsoil.  Marvel is an 
additive that has as many uses as WD40, love the stuff, I put a tiny bit in 
my oil(if it isn't synthetic)
Slick 50 and all the other additives containing PTFE, (a brand name I think) 
are useless.  PTFE was developed by dupont, and when it was first made, they 
studied it for an engine additive, and found it to offer no real benefits, 
and maybe some problems...they actually would not let anyone sell it as an 
engine additive.  I guess they just got a big enough check and changed their 
mind.
