Actually, they were forced to do it by the federal government. It's
not legal to discriminate that way apparently. PTFE is the generic
name of Teflon. You'll notice that slick 50 says it contains ptfe,
but the trademarked name teflon doesn't appear on the bottle. That's
because DuPont wouldn't let them use it.
