On my 87 5KsQ, the connector pins became unsoldiered. The circuit board
where pins attach needed to be re-soldiered. (this is where the plug
attaches). Wiggling the plug would make the air come out of center vents for
a while until I discovered the problem. Look closely at where the pins are
on the circuit board for any breaks. I think the plug causes vibration.
