You should be able to determine the size by measuring across the splines.
The bolts on the 100 and most if not all of the newer Audis are most likely
10mm triple-squares. VW used mostly 8mm. You should be able to find a kit
at your local auto parts store made by Lisle that has all the sizes in it.
You could also buy individual ones from the local Snap-On or Mac tools
truck.
It is very easy to strip the bolt heads, especially on the 8mm, if you're
not careful. Make sure you thoroughly clean out the recesses of the bolt
head of all the built up grease and grime. Use a paperclip or something
similar to clean out the debris from the bottom. Then before applying any
torque, tap the driver into the bolt head a couple of times with a hammer to
fully seat it.
