swapping analogue dash to digidash?

Hi all,

I'm about to purchase an 87 Euro-UrQ for parts.
I would love to put that digidash into my 85 Coupe quattro (where it was an
option those days).

Now I heard that such a conversion is pretty though (esp. wiring)
Any BTDT's, leads, websites or recommedations (besides 'Don't do it!' or
'Sell it to me!')?
Can I use (parts of) the wiring of the UrQ?
Any high-tech mods to be made?
