Speaking of A8s

If a Norwegian-owned A8 receive damage, and needs straightening or welding, the
damaged car is promptly put on the ferry from Oslo to Kiel where it is
transported to an Audi-approved bodyshop, just because of the fact that there
are no shops in Norway that are approved by Audi to fix the aluminium. The
reputation problem for Audi is probably not the A8 but rather the A2 as it is
cheaper and in a few years time will be representing Audi in far larger numbers
than the A8 does today.
I also remember Phil Payne mentioning this situation being somewhat similar in
UK, as there were only one shop that did aluminium bodies for Audi and the
people there were, according to Phil, a real PITA.
