100 Eurolights

There is no comparison between stock DOT aerolights and the Eurolights,
other than they both fit in the same space.

The standard DOT lights are a joke - they might as well be made by Lucas
(the inventor of darkness), and they are so dim and ill-defined as to
constitute an absolute hazard when driving after dark. If this was an
airplane, it would have to be placarded "Day VFR only", and it would be
grounded at night. It astonishes me that NTSB doesn't do a recall and
demand that Audi/Bosch et al replace these feeble things - but then, look
at most 90s vintage US cars - Fords are even worse - you see these great
big Ford Pickup trucks roaring around at night with lexan headlight lenses
that are positively white and almost opaque. Any question why there are
more accidents at night? - you can't SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING!!!!!

60 mph is 88 fps. If your beam penetration with useful illumination is 200
feet, you have a little over two seconds to see the tractor-trailer parked
in your lane with the lights out, and realize what it is, and stop your
car. Guess what - it doesn't work - crunch!

Eurolights make these cars safe to drive at night. They give clear, bright
light for almost a MILE ahead of you - you'll be astonished at how brightly
all the reflective road signs and lane markers suddenly got, and you'll be
amazed that you drove at night with the old lights.

After driving with these lights for over a year, I consider them required
equipment, and not subject to negotiation. Type 44s with the stock lights
need to have white canes with red tips duct-taped to the fenders, because
that is the ONLY way you'll find your way at night.

All this sounds extreme, but after you've tried a set of these lights,
properly aimed, wired and relayed, there simply is no substitute, and no
excuses will be accepted.

Best Regards,
