sounds like bushings... control arm bushings...
may need tie rod ends and or a rack depending on where all of the play
is at in the steering...
i would definitely start by checking the bushings though... if it is the
bushings.. i don't think they are sold seperately, so you buy a new arm,
but at least the ball joint comes with the new arm (built on them)
