Where to get Valentine 1

In the US I believe they are only available from Valentine Research
directly, they don't have any retailers. I got mine "refurbished" from them
for 369.00 USD. I guess people get them for a trip and return them (their
idea of a cheap rental) or just feel bad for spending so much and return
them. Anyway you could try that. I know it's not much off, but it does
cover the cost of the remote display.

Subject: Where to get Valentine 1

I think a good place to start with the 90 is to get myself a real radar
detector. I originally had two old Escort detectors, but the three band
unit barely picks up self opening doors anymore, though the laser works just
fine. Though I think the ticket, or lack of getting them, is to grab a
Valentine 1. Sniffed around their website and nearly dropped a clot when I
saw the price, $400. Anyone know of a shop that sells these for less, or
are they only available through Valentine directly?

Thanks!
