Yes, I agree. But I think you should not worry about getting your wallet before
he/she is there. You should keep your hands where he/she can see them while
they approach you. Be courteous and friendly and let them know where you
papers are before you reach for them, dont make any sudden movements to the
glove compartment or any other places. Also if you have firearms with you in the
car it's always better to tell them first.
Cops need to be edgy to save their skin so if you make their experience a better
one there is a better chance they will at least reduce your ticketing speed.
That's what happened to me. 68 on a 40 reduced to 48 on a 40. That saved me big
bucks... A nice cop I guess, but I went out of my way to make it comfortable for him.
