... you don't state which model or year, but if it is an older car with
hydraulic lifters it could be that this is all you will have to replace ...
BTDT on a 5000TQ ... cost was ~US$110 for the lifters ... I think I replaced
them when I did the timing belt, water pump and seals ...

Ticking can also be an indication of a cracked exhaust manifold or a vacuum
pump that is full of oil ... really depends on the car you have ...
