All of what Mike says is exactly correct.  Looking at a power seat 5k
floor pan (I am gonna put a set in my F250), I think you could also
fabricate the front brackets the power seat bolts to, once you
understand how they "set up."  And just to repeat what Mike said for
emphasis, this is such an important weld it should be done by a
qualified technician.

If you want photos of the brackets I could take some and send them over,
btw.
