You've broken the little metal fork that the key cylinder uses to
open/close the lock mechanism. It seems like you accidentally
damaged something in the lock when you took it apart and/or put
it back together.
Repairing the fork has been well discussed in the archives, it's been
too many years since I did mine. But before you do that, you need to
find out what is binding in the lock itself, or you'll just break the
new fork.
