Fuel pump relay failure takes out ECU

You don't say what version of the MAC you have, but assuming it is one of
the Hitachi brains then you will be looking for a transistor with a burned
hole in the front of it !!!! It will be marked something like
2SAxxx/2SBxxx/2SCxxx with maybe an extra number and/or letter on the end.

If no obvious damage follow the track from the pin that drives the FPR back
to the transistor. Let us know what it is and we should be able to tell you
an equivalent device.
