Wow am I stupid! My apologies to Huw, about the only
thing I got right about this last post is the part
where I said I was confused.
Of course, there is a 10 amp fuse in the top of this
"relay". It has to be there for the ABS to work. Guess
what, I have one. How could I miss a thing like that?
Lets just say that I had a fuse with a pig tail on it
that I am using for a hot lead to a backup starter
switch. I thought that the fuse part had been
disabled. What a maroon!
So, just to put this issue to bed. Everything with the
ABS works fine after my cleaning/resoldering and I do
have a 10 amp fuse in the top of the "relay".
