emergency switch

An emergency switch is a very good idea, But if you turn off the key you
can still steer until you pull the key out of the lock.
If you cut power to the coil the fuel pump should cut out too, the
computer or relay (depending on engine management) turns the FP on when it
senses spark. The coil actually has to fire off a spark in my experiences,
try getting the fpr to kick on while cranking w/ the + or the - trigger wire
dissconnected on the coil. Cutting out the fuel pump relay will cut the
engine out quickly, especially @ WOT. Thats how your rev limit and
over-boost works on cis. Maybe wire up a switch w/fuse with male terminals
that go into where the fuel pump fuse normally goes? (a reversible mod w/no
cutting)
I crashed my sand rail when my throttle got stuck WO. i attemted to push
in the clutch as i'm mid air, my foot slipped off the clutch as i landed, i
couldn't yank it out of gear (it is very tough to do @ WOT), manual drum
brakes SUCK!!! I found the front end so light i could not steer and then do
i dare to take my hand off the wheel while i'm out of control to grab the
horribly placed kill switch. That all happened in a second.
Well, i crashed into a small trailer, and pushed that into a cement
footing for high tension power line tower. I didn't have time/reach to grab
the switch. I and my passenger were both wearing 4 point harnesses and
crashed at about 30mph. Both fine. Nothing broke, how???
The best place for the switch? probably near the shifter/e-brake area?

Jay
