New to Audi...

Hello,
I am new to the Audi enthusiasts, but have been a faithful to VW. I currently own a GTi VR6 and am looking to purchase a 1990 Quattro coupe. Are there any specific items I should watch for before purchasing and are there any performance shops in the GTA that deal with Audi products that are reasonable and more importantly... reliable.
