You may have some wires that have melted together and shorted... or if
you are luckier (I guess) there may be a short in the fuse box.

I had a problem with my 90Q where the high beams would flash on under
their own "power".  It did turn out to be the fuse box, which I swapped
- a bit awkward but not really too difficult.  Just a matter of keeping
track of where everything plugged in to it and not losing any wires
"down the hole"
