Twern't me.  I can't remember where it happened - either at Castle Coombe or Silverstone.  It was Galvin, who reacted to a #1 plug
that resisted his blandishments with a selection of ever-larger breaker bars until he finally managed to get the top half of it in
his hand.

I was happily engaged in someone else's engine bay at the time - I first became aware of the fuss when he borrowed my poserphone (he
never charges the batteries in his own) to call a flatbed.  The car was carted to Roger's workshop, where further unhealthy things
happened to it, but that's another story. Quite a long one, actually.

I don't know how the owner got home that day.  Rugby Motor Engineering Services got the plug remnants out without damaging the
threads after I took the head off.
