A6 Stereo

Hi All:
Just replaced the dead head unit of my 95 A6 wagon stereo with a Blaupunkt
unit.  I have buzzing in my rear speakers which the Blau-folks tell me is a
bad amp.  Their suggestion is to replace the rear speakers altogether with a
non-amplified variety.  I have tried locating the amp in my Bentley manuals
and they seem to say that this car only came with a Bose system (I am living
proof that they are wrong) and they also only give info for the sedan.

All that said anyone know where the amp is on a wagon and whether it's worth
trying to fix the rear speakers or just replace in total?

I also now have problems with my front and rear windshield sprayers -- both
are getting less than 12vdc.  Bentley is again of no help -- they just warn
that there may be some unpredictable results from using any non-audi head
units.
