I must fit into one of the youngest listers then as well (19 here). I
would have to say that I would go for a sick bi-turbo grocery hauler
over a smaller car with the same engine any day. I agree with Scott, it
is a blast to tool around in a rather large, bulky looking car and see
the expressions on other people's faces. Also, when driving friends
around it seems much more pleasurable for them in a full sized car that
can still haul-ass instead of a coupe doing the same. I think the main
reason though is that the larger cars just feel more "solid" that there
smaller counter parts.
I think that that is one great thing with Audi's. The make deceiving
looking cars. Its hard to find another manufacture who WONT throw a wing
on a car to make it "look" faster, and then Audi just makes there
fastest cars into Station Wagons! =) go figure.
That's my .02 American dollars for what it matters.

I guess this has more to do with our age than everything else....I think
Mike Gough and I are among the youngest listers (he's 16 or 17 and I'm
22)
and I'd rather have a small, lighweight car like my coupe quattro (2400
lbs)
with 3 or 400 HP than a boat with even twice the HP!!! As for the
suspension, the one in my car is the same that it came with out of the
factory (at 180+ k miles) and it's pretty comfortable...2 weeks ago we
drove
1200 miles in one day (at an average of +/- 100 mph) and I wasn't that
tired...I think I was less tired than I would have been if I had done
the
same journey with my father's new Opel Astra Coupe (great looking car
but an
actual sh** to drive, it's just too slow at 125 HP and 2400 lbs)
Definitely gimme a new A4 with a 2.6l 25vt 400 hp engine!!!! :-)))))
That's just my 0.02 Euro (hey the euro's coming pretty soon!) :)
