90tq Turbo Conversion (was: Timing Pin Placement)

Hi Chris,

I can't help you with the timing pin (seems like it ought to go in the
exact place it normally goes). I had other comments tho'...

Hey cool pics. Nice project.

I need to get one of these engine balancer thingees for my cherry
picker.

Btw, my cherry picker now slowly lowers when left alone. Is this a
situation of dried out seals? The stupid thing has never been used
before, as an engine puller, but it's been assembled and stored inside
and outside for some time now. Anyone have any idea how to diagnose
and fix the apparent internal leak?

As an aside, I see your G2 Scirocco page:

Were you aware that a Coupe GT or 4k front bumper can be made to fit
those cars? It's is similar to a "big bumper" mod. I've seen pics on the
'net, and I have a couple on my pc at home. It looks pretty cool. I don't
know who's pics or car they are, but I'll probably post them.

Shipping would probably suck, but I have a front bumper I won't
necessarily be using. Got a boneyard one that doesn't have license
plate holes in it (woohoo!). Yeah, I need to get back out to the 'yards.

Later,

Ken
