Hmm. Somehow a Beogram 8000 linear tracking turntable just seems to go
better with fine Audis than the Bose 901s.

Well, at least it does in my house.

Note that the B&O products weren't necessarily the finest audiophile
products *either*, but they certainly followed the form follows function a
lot more closely than Framingham's Finest Audi. The stuff sounds good, works
great, and looks awesome. I bought Beovox 45 speakers cos they sounded the
best to my somewhat trained ears, and a series of Beogram turntables as they
were very gentle on records. Not nearly as good as a well balanced Thorens,
or better, but you *couldn't* scratch a record with an B&O table.

I've since moved on to Adcom separates and a Nak 3 head tape deck, and am
still waiting to find a proper listening room for a pair of Magnepan
loudspeakers. The B&O table, and the 2 sets of B&O speakers will stick
around for a long time, just like the Audis. :)
