Directionally confused Pirelli's

They are asymetrical; that is there is an inside and an outside to the tire
when it is mounted on the rim.  Attention must be paid when mounting them
that the outside markings are on the outside.
  In addition they may also be directional; that is they must rotate in one
direction.
A lot of tires are made this way; directional to diperse water better.
They asymetrical element allows a generally firmer outside rib area on the
tread.
