Your best bet is to try to use the system that came with your donor motor, so
if its an MC use the bracketry that came with those cars. The alternator
will move to the turbo side, and the compressor has to come to the radiator
side, but then there are clearance issues with the radiator, and all your
hoses will need to be lengthened or shortened depending. Also, Urq brackets
will help here, as the factory was able to fit AC in the the type 85 chassis
with which the 89 is very similar.

<< Hey folks,
I have a quick question for the few listers that may know about putting
air back into there 90 tq after or during conversion. When I converted my
4000q 5 years ago, Performance was the only thing of importance, therefore, I
had no problem riping the system out for the reduced weight. I drove it like
that for 2.5 years in las vegas without complaint. Doubling horse power will
do that. I now have 2 kids and will be more interested in making this car
more civalized and comfortable. I believe it to be possable for speed and
comfort in the 90tq. So, wile I need 250 hp, I also need 70 degrees inside if
I need to sport the kids. Does anybody know how to do this? I need to capture
my 6 month new freon also. Should I just ask the air conditioning shop what
they can do? I know that there are at least 2 options that have been used by
some of you.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Brandon
