OK, Taka, how much slack will you allow for using (ahem) "cornering" lights
for extremely dark rural road shoulders whereupon lurk Bambi and some of
his many cousins? Properly aimed fog lights serve admirably to illuminate
such hazards in areas where there are no other lights. No street
lights. No yard lights. No lights from other cars. No other traffic. No
slack at all? <Whimper> I guess I'll just have to learn to live on a
tight leash.

I have no problem with someone being upset over fog lights glaring away on
well lighted city highways but they have their value on most of the lightly
travelled very twisty and VERY dark roads I drive here in rural
West-by-gawd-Virginia. Please don't pronounce judgement until you walked
the proverbial mile in my moccasins.
