Hi Jim,
Do you happen to have the part number for the one you are using?
Is it cut down into this little piece shown here?

It looks like the whole accordian section is gone.
I understand that it is very difficult to stretch that material (onto the MC
throttle body). I haven't handled it, but that's what I've read here.
