CQ 5 Bolt Wheel Pattern

I was wondering about bolt pattern conversions myself and having a 5KTQ with
5 bolt pattern myself, I don't know why someone with an Audi 4 bolt would go
to Audi 5 bolt.?? No flames, please, it's an honest question, not meant to
slight anyone who may have done it. I haven't been able to find a whole lot
of wheels with the 5X112 pattern, and the ones I have found require a second
mortgage to pay for them (granted, they were very nice wheels, but the
price...sheesh!). I have been contemplating a pattern change, but I am
thinking of going non-Audi 5 bolt with a more common hub pattern (Ford,
Chev, Toyota, whatever) I realize that this will likely involve some
machine work, but I figure if I am going to do it, I may as well make a
meaningful change.

I like my Audi, but I don't necessarily like all things Audi, especially
when I can improve upon it.

Just my .02
