blank heat/ac control panel

I suspect the ignition switch.  When I was in Florida over Thanksgiving, I
got gas, and when I started the car, the a/c didn't come on, nor was the
panel illuminated.  I turned off the engine, pulled the key and turning it
over, restarted the car....everything normal, and everything has remained
normal since.

My '94 is "new" to us, having arrived late in August.  I have noticed that
the ignition key seems a bit flakey, but nothing more, and restarting seems
to solve the problem.
