Don't know if you've fixed it yet but if the battery was in a bad way before
you tried to start it then it could be the plates in it are buckled and
touching which will short everything out. (and hence the car will still not
start when you jump it 'cause it's still being shorted out) Easiest way to
test this is remove the dead battery and try the one from the other car.
Don't try to jump start your car without a battery connected on the 4kq - I
think this is a bad thing to do (not too sure why though)
