Hi!
Thanks for your help! Actually the fuel dist was giving WAY TOO MUCH fuel,
even with the mixture screw fully unscrewed!!! We took a spare fuel dist.
and put it on the car and it fired directly! After that we found out that
the advance was a little too far too and this was why it wouldn't hold a
correct idle...now it runs great but uses some oil (blue smoke coming out
the exhaust when revving past 4000 RPM), which it didn't do before....The
engine is due for a rebuild next year so it doesn't matter anyway, what
counts is that this is the second time I do a timing belt on a CGT and both
cars are (now) running okay...I'm becoming pretty good at this apprently :)
