No difference, except now the 3.0 model gets the 6-speed while the 1.8T
stays with 5-speed if you opt with manual shift.  The only thing new as
far as transmission goes is the new Mutitronic CVT, but that is offered
currently with front drive only.  The "old" Tiptronic slushbox is also
still offered.
