VWs with AWD?

Parent's just got one.

It's slow and heavy feeling (though on the speedo it's going faster and getting there quicker than the Butt-o-meter suggests).

Interior was, IMHO, pretty much on par with my 200Q though. Haven't spent much time in A4's and the like, but I didn't think it was at all outclassed by them.

I've also test driven the FWD Passat (non-4 motion) sedan. Seat of the pants a little (note, little) quicker, but still has that "heavy" feeling.

Both cars objectively don't seem all that bad, and subjectively are well controlled. They just don't inspire the way that say a GTi does.
