What is the lowest height to run a 84' 4000 S Quattro sedan???

For a track car, my recommendation would be nothing other that coilovers for a few reasons:
1) Ease of tuneability of spring rates including height adj, etc.
2) Ease of removal from the car, no spring compressor required.
3) More clearance for wider tires
4) Infinite selection of spring rates to choose from compared to a set, and likely compromised, rate from H&R, Eibach, etc.
With coilover you can pretty much lower as much as alignment settings will allow, about 3" or so from stock. Height itself should not determine where the springs should be set, however, you need to take into account what you want out of the suspension, and lower accordingly. I don't see how being a quattro creates a dilema??
